delfts blauwe tegel

September - november 2022 I created a delfts blauwe tegel for specialist painter. A delfts blauwe tegel is a blue tile that is popular in The Netherlands. It's all blue and sometimes has small gold touches. We had to mix old with new so for the border I painted flowers, and for the inside I used a sketch I did in my sketchbook of different shapes that represent the feeling of the ocean emerging.
